Mary Tyler Moore Show - Last Episode ending credits - original and syndicated
Переглядів 6207 місяців тому
Taped on March 19, 1977, here are the ending credits to the ending of the final Mary Tyler Moore Show, followed by the revised ending credits as shown in syndication. I uploaded this to UA-cam many years ago and it got taken down by MTM Productions, but someone downloaded and re-posted it, which is why the quality isn't too great.

1960s Star Muffler Commercial - with Ernie Anderson and Big Chuck!
Переглядів 1,1 тис.2 роки тому
A local Cleveland place, Star Muffler did a lot of TV advertising back in the 60s and 70s! Here's a unique one, with Ernie Anderson playing the lead, and Cleveland legend "Big" Chuck Schodowski playing one of the Star Muffler mechanics. Always great to see a '65 Chevy Impala, too!
Some TV Commercials from May of 1978 - taped on a "Quasar Great Time Machine"!
Переглядів 1,2 тис.2 роки тому
From May 25, 1978, here are some TV commercials that were shown during a Bing Crosby special. There's even an ad for AMERICAN GRAFFITI for its first-run at the theater!! This was taped from Seattle on a Quasar Great Time Machine! I did not alter or change the quality of this recording in any way, so what you see is exactly the way it was recorded!
All Our Video Conventions - 1979 - 1981!
Переглядів 4862 роки тому
Here is camera footage of all the video conventions that we attended in the late 70s/early 80s, in NW Ohio....so much fun!! Luckily, we always brought a color video camera to these events to capture all the fun.....and the people!! We all brought some Betamax machines (and some of the guys even brought U-Matics and VHS machines), tons of blank tape, and our latest movies to dub! Those dubbing s...

The very FIRST 2-Minute TV Commercial - from 1972!
Переглядів 7792 роки тому
Here's a TV commercial that I distinctly remember, mainly because it was SO long...at 1 minute, 40 seconds...almost 2 minutes! And of course it had a classy British announcer (who is also an actor). I think this was from 1972. This was taped sometime in the 80s.

Planet of the apes about to come on
I Was Born 11 Days Before Elvis Passed Away I Became A Elvis Fan In The Summer Of 1989 when A Local Radio Station Played Elvis Music Every Friday Night The First Song I Ever Heard Was Can’t Help Falling In Love With You And I Just loved His Voice it Was So relaxing And I Still Love Him to This Day ☺️
This was the life. If you had HBO back then and a Betamax to record the movies while you were sleep to watch later. Because a lot of the really good movies came on late night.
What the sigma
And as great as Carroll O' Connor was in "All in the Family", he was every bit as great as Chief Gillespie in "In the Heat of the Night."
One of my first animation jobs!
Very Cool 💎💎
KHAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!
Why is the moive rating 1961 in color
Whatever his motivation, it was a brilliantly astute business move by O’Connor writing words to this song. Because as the co-writer/lyricist of record, he (or his estate) gets paid every time the show airs to this day.
Basically a monza with a different grill. Good looking cars but they were junk inside and out. Bad era for cars.
In a month from now, I'll be 20 and I can still recognize a lot of the stars, sadly not all of them, but a lot. I would tell you who I do know, but it would be a long list and I'm not gonna bother with it. I just cannot believe that I was NOT around when this kind of TV was around.
RIP Mr O’Connor Mr.Lear &Ms Stapleton
That "Small Chrysler" looks HUGE compared the Shitcans that are todays "Full Size" Cars
I'd be very interested to know whether these shows are being preserved or if the CBC is going to lose or possibly destroy them?
Omg I better get to bed suns gonna be up soon, What memories staying up all night watching tv as a kid until early morning I hope heaven is the 1970s
😅😅😅😅😅well information good show 😅😅
I always enjoyed listening to that music after an episode of all in the family.
Pathetic... We English don't blubber....
That lightning speel with the CBS eye logo used to scare me as a kid.
I had that exact model. brought ahead to my eye.
0:52 Isn’t just ABC broadcast of the end of 1970s?
What a lineup of personalities that made CBS quite complete.
I work for channel 9 in 1986 in the mail room and didn't know Burd Bullock had work there in the 70's. This is new to me. Danny Trainer was also whether man, Martie Salt and Marla Wetch...
He seems to be pretty content they're through. Maybe I wish I hadn't seen this. The ending theme didn't need any stinkin' lyrics.
This feels like the ad that inspired the ad for the "Homer".
What a treat this is to see! I am watching this at 4:27 am on 6/21/24 and it just made my day. Archie Bunker is one of the most iconic characters in tv history. I was only 5 years old when All in the Family premiered and 13 years old when it ended. But I certainly remember watching the show as a child and remember all the episodes to this day. Norman Lear was a genius!
The late Carroll O'Conner sang the closing theme to All in the family which became Archie Bunker's Place. I'm teary eyed as I listen to the song Remembering you.
X is replaced by NC17 And I believe that happened in 1990 I believe.
Im guessing O'Connor is of Irish ancestry?
This is what 46 looked like in 1971.
"Abdominal?" LOL
For the record, All In The Family aired from Jan 1, 1971-Sept 16, 1979, Jun 2-Jul 7, Sept 9-Sept 16, 1991 and from Jan 11-25, 1992 on CBS.
What a good looking little car.
That is a good looking car.
fail
Uncle Leo??
Imagine if Pat Sajak was selected by The Weather Channel as a weather specialist, anchoring the hourly weather forecasts!!!
Heh heh heh...no dog food for Ricardo tonight.
This is NBC Nightly News, December 23rd, with John Chancellor reporting from the NBC News Center in New York
This was such a wonderful treat to hear the vocals to the ending of this theme song. I watched All In The Family in syndication when I was a little boy in the late 70s and early 80s but I didn't know there were words to the song. Thank you very much for posting this and educating me. And a shoutout and hello to everyone still checking out All In The Family in 2024. Bless us all.
Hello, Big? Hello, Big? Hello, Big?
0:48 I see the countdown is too fast.
00:25 MEGAMAX "THAT'S A KONDI."
00:22 MEGAMAX "THAT'S A KONDI."
Before Ernie became the Voice of ABC. The face behind the famous ABC voiceover!
Wheel of Fortune is Retire after 41 Seasons right!
If I was Dick Van Dyke, would say Mary Tyler Moore satisfies best, not Kent cigarettes.
KHHHAAAANNN!
